Voice Stress Analysis consists of the verification of information and the use of a lie detector for a confiability test or the verification of specific information to the personnel that you determine. For this purpose Security Consulting Colombia Ltda. provides the most advanced system in Voice Stress Analysis.
To do the tests we have two technologies.

The VSA Marc-2000 conducts an analysis process and interpretation of the answers to the questions asked, internally, electonically and digitally with a high level of precision. The Marc-2000 gives numeric results to each question which makes it easier to detect immediately the truth or lie after each question.

SYSTEM OF VOICE STRESS ANALYSIS 2000

On the contrast to the common lie detecting systems as polygraphs and other VSA systems which require a detailed analysis of graph analysis by the user which in a lot of cases are extremely subjective and inconclusive, the MARK 2000 conducts an internal, electronic and digital analysis and interpretation process of the answers to the questions asked with a high level of precision. This allows that the operation concentrates all its attention on the interrogation process and not on the analysis of the graphics. The MARK 2000 gives numeric results to each question which makes it easier to detect immediately the truth or lie after each question.

Not always is the best graph analylist the best interrogator and vice-versa. The MARK 2000 can be read as if it were a simple thermometer or voltimeter. This makes its use and application easier. The MARK 2000 can be used personally with the interrogated person being present or by phone with the person being far away as well as with a hidden microphone “BUG” without the knowledge of the person or with previous recordings of interrogations. No other VSA system offers this flexibility in its application.

SOFTWARE LANTERN 6000L (DDVSA)

We also have another system developed by Diogenes Internacional, called Lantern Pro, which is used specifically for Voice Stress Analysis and has been the result of the experiences developed with the ancient system of verimetric measurements.
The displays are friendly and simple which makes their use easier.
This software allows the analysis, organization and printouts in a rapid and effective way working with the recordings as easy-to-use files.

The Lantern Pro permits an immediate analysis of graphics which in turn makes its faster to get to the results of the tests while giving the analyzer more tools.
The answers are organizad according to the order of the protocols which in turn allows an easy analysis of the results and to apply the formulas that necessary for its study.

EXAMINERS

Our exams are realized by ISSA certified (International Association of VSA Analysts) analysts who have training and experience that guarantee the result of the training session given by our company. Additionally, they hold a BA in psychology to perform reliable and professional tests.

CONVENTIONAL POLYGRAPHY

The polygraph is a scientific instrument which monitors and registers physiologic changes simultaneously. This means that it is an instrument of high sensitivity and precision capable of recording the psycho-physiologic variables continuously in a graphic which take place in the organism of someone who is stimulated psychologically through determined questions.

PROCEDURES:

• Introduction: It is explained to the interviewee will he/she be treated well during the process, that some data will be asked such as information about health, family, studies, previous jobs, financial background, etc.
• A structured interview will be done for the purpose of knowing all relevant information related with his/her confiability. The functioning of the polygraph will be explained.
• The questions to be asked with the polygraph will be checked with the candidate previously.
• An authorization to go ahead with the exam will be requested
• The exam will be done
• Analysis and evaluation of the graphics
• Interview (“after-test”)
• Presentation of the report
  

RESULTS

• NDI (a deception not shown, no lies detected)
• DI (a deception shown, lies detected)
• INC (no conclusion, this situation is very uncommon, for example, when the person submitted to the test does not fulfill the necessary conditions to do the test. To rule this possibility out the examiner will do a simple test before the exam to check the examinee’s capacity.
